When I heard everyone chanting and reciting in the course of the competition, I couldn't help thinking of the lofty aspirations of "the great river east has gone to the sea for the best, and the former romantic figures are in the west of the old base area", and there are even people who treat me with "prepare chicken rice for me, old friend, you entertain me on your farm, and we look at the green trees and the pale blue mountains around your village", and there are also people who treat me with "I visit three times a day, being unfaithful to others and making friends without trust".
With the joint efforts of all of us, our ancient poetry knowledge contest has come to a successful conclusion. The school attached great importance to this ancient poetry knowledge contest and publicized it at the meeting many times. Teacher Zhang Xi, secretary of the Communist Youth League branch, worked out a practical plan, and printed and distributed what the curriculum standards required students to master to the students, each with one copy. All the class teachers use their spare time to urge the students to recite. The three small hosts carefully planned and made a lot of preparations. Students can take it seriously and recite it quickly. Some students also recited many other poems. Thanks to the full preparation and the excellent performance of the students today, the activity was a complete success.
Seeing the students' catchy, bold and skillful response to poetry in the competition, we can see that the students recited a lot of poems through this competition, learned the essence and nutrition of their own ideology and culture from poetry recitation, mastered the skills of the competition, exercised their courage and gained a lot.
The achievements are gratifying, but there are also some shortcomings. Some students didn't recite the poems sent to everyone seriously and didn't achieve the goal of common improvement. Secondly, everyone's preparation time is not long. Students usually accumulate few poems in their minds, so it is difficult to meet the requirements by memorizing so many poems at once. Some students are not clear about the purpose of the school's knowledge contest on ancient poetry. The purpose of the school's knowledge contest on ancient poetry is to urge students to recite some poems. At the same time, by reciting poems, we can master the skills of reciting poems, cultivate the ability to appreciate poems and recite classical poems. Just like facing a mentor, we can listen to the teachings of our ancestors and let our souls be baptized and edified beyond time and space, thus cultivating our noble and beautiful thoughts and sentiments. Reciting classical poems is like walking in a sea of flowers. We can feel the fragrance of its wonderful art and get the moisture of its sweet artistic rain and dew. Therefore, I would like to give you a little hope: I hope you can continue to recite the poems given to you after the competition, and then you can often recite some poems, because the process of reciting poems is also a process of accumulation and infection: we can feel the refinement and vividness of ancient literary language, and we can feel the profound artistic conception contained in poems.
