The word "monk" consists of two words: man and Zeng, which means that a monk was once a man, but now he has given up human desires and practiced supreme Buddhism. Buddha is made up of the word man and Buddha. When he became a Buddha, he jumped out of reincarnation and was no longer a human being. Monks are in a state of progress on the road from man to Buddha. Don't say I have a sense of family responsibility It is a good thing to have a sense of family responsibility, but you only have a sense of family responsibility, which shows that your heart is very small. A sense of family responsibility shows that you have love and compassion. Where does this compassion come from? In terms of Buddha's nature. Everyone has Buddha nature, and at the beginning of life, human nature is good. This goodness is Buddha's nature, the supreme goodness, and its function is incredible. But now our Buddha nature has been blinded. What happened? That is, we are too small-minded to become monks. If we don't become monks, we are ordinary people, which is very bitter. Trouble turns cold, persistence disappears, and wisdom appears. This is called becoming a monk. Strictly speaking, only after life and death is it called becoming a monk. However, although life and death have passed, there is still a long way to go. Ignorance has not been broken.
