The Moon Image in Ancient Poetry

In China's ancient poems, it is a common brushwork to use the moon to contrast feelings. Generally speaking, the moon in ancient poems is synonymous with homesickness. Li Bai's Thoughts on a Quiet Night: "The foot of the bed is bright, is there frost?" Looking up, I found that it was moonlight, sinking again, and I suddenly thought of home. " How does this poem express Li Bai's feelings? Homesickness. The moon in the poem is no longer a purely objective image, but an image full of poet's feelings. Du Fu's "Remembering Brothers on a Moonlit Night": "He knows that the dew will frost tonight, and the moonlight at home will be bright! "Dew is always white, but tonight is whiter, because it feels like tonight; The moon is unknown everywhere, and my hometown is brighter because I miss my brother and my hometown. The poet takes fantasy as reality to highlight his nostalgia for his hometown. In the Tang Dynasty, Wang Jian wrote "Looking at Du Langzhong at Fifteen Nights": "Tonight, the moon is full, and I don't know whose house Qiu Si will fall." The poem points out the universal human feelings of this full moon night with euphemistic questions, and implicitly shows the poet's deep yearning for his hometown friends. There is also "the sea rises and the moon rises, and the sky is * * * at this time" (Zhang Tang

Nine-year-old poems such as "Looking at the Full Moon and Thinking Far", "If you want to ask Wujiang not to come here, I will see you in my dream" (Tang Wang Changling's "Li Chang Cao Zhai Night Drink") are all about this feeling.

1. Most frontier poems in Tang Dynasty are related to the bright moon, which contains the sad characteristics of frontier poets. Such as: "The bright moon at the dragon head is near the pass, and pedestrians in Longdong play the flute at night" (Song of the Dragon Head by Wang Wei)

Anger; "The sand is like snow before Yuefeng, and the moon outside the city is like frost" (Li Yi's On Listening to the Flute at Night on the Wall of the Countryside); "Playing Guan Shanyue, the Qiang flute, is free from the worries of Mrs. Wanli Jin" (Wang Changling's "Joining the Army")

Sad and sad; "There was a bright moon in the Qin Dynasty, but it was closed in the Han Dynasty, and the Long March did not return" (Wang Changling's "The Great Wall") was tragic. In the above poems, the moon appears as a language image and plays the role of rendering the environment.

It highlights the role of lyricism, and at the same time realizes the transformation of the concept of frontier fortress space from geographical location to spiritual perception, thus giving readers a * * * sound in the deep perception dimension.

2. The moon is full and round, which carries the genes of human emotions, so the moon contains the characteristics of emotional helplessness. For example, Xie Zhuang's "Beauty walks in the dust, the moon is thousands of miles away" ("Moon Fu") prayed for blessings; Zhang Jiuling's hope and longing for "the moon, now full of crossing the sea, is the end of the world" ("Looking at the moon, thinking of a distant place"). The deep and lingering helplessness can only be transformed into a beautiful monologue of "I wish people would last for a long time, and cicadas would sing a thousand miles" (Su Shi's "Water Tune Song Tou"), floating in the bright sky that has lasted for many years. Of course, time will dilute and destroy the sweetness and mellowness of love, and will multiply the bleak helplessness and sadness. "Where are the people who come to enjoy the moon together? The scenery is vaguely like last year" (Zhao Xia's "Riverside Building Feeling Old"), the graceful figure who once spent two months ago, with the passage of time, I don't know where it is now, leaving only the silk thread in the sky where love is lost, which is dull and surging.

The falling of moonlight circulates in the time and space of life, so moonlight contains the eternal characteristics of time and space. For example, Li Yu said, "When are the spring flowers and the autumn moon? How much do you know about the past? The small building was easterly again last night, so the country could not bear to look back at the middle of next month. " (Yumei) In the poet's eyes, once happiness and freedom can only be recalled and repented in this life under the realistic situation that flowers bloom and flowers fall and the full moon is short. In addition, Li Bai from "When is the moon in the sky? In the hazy drunkenness of "I stopped for a drink today", I asked the philosophy of life that "today's people don't see Gu Yue, but this month's life was like the ancients", which gave birth to the feeling of "today's people look at the bright moon so much", thus revealing the eternal natural law that time plunders life and life is helpless in front of time.
