Xiuning Dialect, namely Xiuning Dialect in Huizhou dialect, is a branch of Huizhou dialect. Xiuning Dialect retains many archaic factors, which is quite different from northern Mandarin. Like all Huizhou dialects, the forced tone sandhi pronunciation feature of Xiuning Dialect is another significant difference from Mandarin.
