Can't sleep at night, sit up and play the piano.
Thin curtains look at the bright moon, and the breeze blows on the chest.
Lonely in the wild, birds are singing in Beilin.
What will you see when you are wandering, and you will be sad when you are worried.

During the Six Dynasties, the development of five-character poetry became the mainstream of poetry. Ruan Ji should be recommended among the seven sages of bamboo forest, the most accomplished poet in Zhengshi period. Ruan Ji has 82 poems in five words, which express his life ambition and feelings. Choose the first one here, which describes a person who can't sleep all night and plays the piano alone.
"I can't sleep at night, so I sit up and play the piano." There seems to be a sadness between these two sentences. Sleeplessness in loneliness is originally the expression of the gentleman's worries about the times and the world in the Book of Songs, such as the white boat: "The white boat is also a flood. If you are worried, if you have hidden concerns. " However, there is nothing in this poem to explain why you are sad, but there is a sad atmosphere in the clear night of the bright moon.
"The thin curtain reflects the bright moon and the breeze blows the chest." The bright moon and the cool breeze are the real scene of midnight, which just sets off the poet's great ambition to play the piano. A state of mind, such as the clear moon and the cool breeze, is pinned on the sound of the piano in the middle of the night. I can't find sadness in this central plains, but the lingering worries in the next four sentences write the root cause of sleepless nights, making such a bright night and such a noble piano sound seem to be full of endless "worries".
"Lonely Hong is singing in the wild and birds are singing in the north forest". From the indoor scenery to the outdoor, you can see and hear the singing of lonely Hong and birds flying between the wild and the north forest. The flying and singing of lonely birds may have their own reasons, but flying in the clear night of the bright moon vaguely reminds us of a kind of anxiety aroused at night. Poets and birds are wandering in this restless and sleepless.
"What will you see when you walk? Just worrying makes you sad. " This man wandered around with a bird in the middle of the night, and finally he just had something on his mind. What he expected was invisible, but he just let his worries drown him and touch his heart. What is this concern? The author didn't elaborate, but the whole scene of playing the piano in the middle of the night seems to be immersed in a kind of sadness. The kind of troubles in life, in the bright moon, in the breeze, shine with the moon and blow with the wind.
