When was "Qilu·Long March" written?

"Seven Rhymes·Long March" is one of the important poems written by Mao Zedong during the Long March. There have long been differing opinions as to when and where this poem was written. When "Poetry Magazine" first published this poem in 1957, it did not indicate the time and place of its writing. Most versions of Mao Zedong's poems now say that this poem was written in October 1935, and the location is not specified. After research, the author believes that the poem was written in September 1935, probably in Xuanwo Village in Min County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province.

Regarding the writing time of "Seven Laws·Long March", page 29 of "Chronicle of Major Events of the Communist Party of China in Gansu" compiled by the Party History Research Office of the Gansu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China: September 29, 1935 , the main force of the Shaanxi-Gansu detachment stationed in Tongwei County. That night, Mao Zedong met with all the commanders and fighters of the Pioneer Company of the First Brigade of the First Column at Wenmiao Street Primary School and held a party. Mao Zedong recited the poem "Seven Rules: Long March" with great pride. According to Liu Ying's "Miscellaneous Memories of the Long March (Excerpts)" of the "Party History Information Collection Newsletter" Issue 10, 1986: "On September 28, 1935, a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee was held in Bangluo Town, Tongwei. The next day, I went to Tongwei County for a cadre meeting. Chairman Mao was so inspired by poetry that he impromptuly recited the later famous poem "Seven Rhymes: Long March" during his speech. "In addition, the Gansu Provincial Party Committee Party School trial textbook "Gansu Local Party History" ( Qin Sheng and Wang Jinlin (written by Qin Sheng and Wang Jinlin in January 1987) wrote: "On September 19, 1935, the Red Army continued to move northward and crossed Dalaliang (ie Minshan). Mao Zedong wrote the famous poems "Qilu·Long March" and "Niannujiao" ·Kunlun"."

The above three materials show that the writing time of "Qilu·Long March" was after September 19, 1935, and before September 29. At the same time, after on-site visits and a large amount of information, the author believes that this poem was conceived in Dalaliang (Minshan) from September 17 to 19, 1935, and was created in Xuanwo Village, Min County, and was later revised.
