Appreciating Poems and Sending Poems to Master Che Ling

Master is a famous poet and monk in the middle Tang Dynasty, with a common surname of Tang and a clear etymology. He was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, and became a monk in yunmen temple, Huiji, Yunmen Mountain. Chikulin Temple is in Runzhou (now Zhenjiang, Jiangsu), which is the temple where Che Ling stayed this time. On the night of writing this poem, the poet sent Che Ling back to the near temple, expressing his deep affection for Che Ling and his quiet behavior. The whole poem describes the scenery, with exquisite conception, concise language and simple and beautiful artistic conception.
