What are the stories of the poems scrutinized by Wang Anshi and Jia Dao?

It is said that when the poet Wang Anshi wrote "Boarding Guazhou", he first wrote "Spring Breeze Arrives in Jiang Nanan again". Later, he thought the word "arrive" was not good, so he changed it to "pass" and then changed it to "enter" and "full". After more than ten revisions, they are not satisfied. Finally, he was inspired by the poem "When the spring breeze comes, and the green lake rises again" before he decided to use the word "green".

The word "scrutiny" is derived from the story of Jia Dao, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, who tempered his poems, meaning to ponder repeatedly.

One day, Jia Dao was riding a donkey in the street in Chang 'an, the capital city, and casually recited a poem, two of which were:

"Birds stay in the trees in the pool, and monks push the moon down the door."

Jia Dao felt that the word "push" in the poem was not properly used. He wanted to change the word "push" to "knock", but he didn't know which word was good at the moment. So, while thinking, I repeatedly pushed the door and knocked at the door with my hands. Pedestrians in the street were very surprised to see Jia Dao's expression.

When Han Yu saw it, he said angrily to Jia Dao, "Why don't you ride a donkey with your head down and look ahead?"

Jia Dao got off the donkey in a hurry, made a gift to Han Yu, and told the story of the poem he had just got from the donkey, because he was so absorbed in thinking that he couldn't avoid it.

after hearing this, Han Yu turned his anger into joy. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Good typing! When everything is asleep and quiet, knocking at the door is even more dead of night. "

Jia Dao thanked him again and again, and defined the poem as "Monks knocking at the door on the moon".
