Guluo is Yueyang City, Hunan Province. Located in the northeast of Hunan Province, near the east bank of Dongting Lake and downstream of Miluo River. The traffic in Miluo is developed, and Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, National Highway 107 and Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway run through the city. The Miluo River is the place where Qu Yuan, a writer in the Warring States Period, drowned himself. There are Quzi Temple, Qu Yuan Mu and other historical buildings commemorating Qu Yuan.
