The main works of the Nine Leaves School

Among them, nine of them, Cao Xinzhi, Xin Di, Chen Jingrong, Zheng Min, Tang Qi, Tang Shi, Du Yunxie, Mu Dan and Yuan Kejia, published the "Nine Leaves Collection" in 1981, hence the name. The Nine-leaf School of Poetry pursues "dramatization of new poetry" in the artistic expression of poetry. Most of them entered the poetry world under the influence of the modernist poets in the 1930s. Half of them were students of Southwest Associated University. At Southwest Associated University, they studied Western modernist literary theories and began to compose poetry. In 1946, teachers and students of Southwest Associated University returned to Peiping and Tianjin. Their works often appear in the supplement "Weekly Literature" of Tianjin "Ta Kung Pao", the supplement "Literature Weekly" of Tianjin "Yi Shi Bao", the supplement of "Jingshi Daily" in Peking and the "Literature Magazine" of the Commercial Press. "Poetry Creation" was first published in Shanghai in July 1947, with Hang Yohe, Xin Di, Chen Jingrong, Tang Qi, Tang Shi, Fang Jing, Fang Yuchen, Ma Fenghua, Li Ying and others participating in it. However, at this time, the authors of "Poetry Creation" were relatively wide, and the genre characteristics were not yet obvious. In June 1948, some of the poets branched off to establish the "Chinese New Poetry" series, composed of Hang Yohe, Xin Di, Chen Jingrong, Tang Qi, and Tang Shi , Fang Jing (not yet in office) and others are editorial board members. Together with Mu Dan, Du Yunxie, Zheng Min, Yuan Kejia and others from the north, they set off a wave of modernist poetry. They called themselves "a group of conscious modernists". Therefore, the founding of "Chinese New Poetry" is considered to be a sign of the formal formation of the Jiuye School of Poetry, and they are also known as the "Chinese New Poetry School".
