Going to an English high school for one year is a very pleasant and exciting experience for me. I am very satisfied with the school time in England, because school starts at about 9 am and ends at 3: 30 pm. This means that I can get up one hour later than my school in China before 8 o'clock. At the meeting, the headmaster told us the rules and regulations of the school. He also told us that the best way to win the respect of the school is to study hard and get h. IGH grades. In the past year, I had many teachers, and each of them only taught one course. Mr Heywood is my head teacher. My favorite teacher is Miss Burke. She is a teacher who teaches us English literature. There are 29 students in our class. This is about the average size of British schools. We have to go to different classes. We also have different students in some classes, so remember that all faces and names are different. In the past year, I had many teachers, and each of them only taught one course. I found that my homework was not as heavy as when I was at my alma mater, but it was a bit difficult for me at first, because all my homework was in English. I feel lucky because all my teachers are very helpful and I like all the courses: English, history, English literature, computer science, mathematics, science, sports, art, cooking and French. My English has made great progress, because I use English every day and spend an hour reading English books in the library every day. I joined the Computer Club of Peking University, so I can send emails to my family and friends for free. On Tuesday night, I had an extra French class. Cooking is really interesting because I learned how to buy, prepare and cook food. At the end of the semester, we held a class party, and we all had to cook something to eat. I'm glad that all my classmates like my cake. My English has improved a lot, because I use English every day and spend an hour reading English books in the library every day. Students in that school must study math, English and science, but if they don't like it, they can give up some subjects, such as history, French and art. They can choose other subjects, such as carpentry, computer science or languages, such as Spanish and German. In the woodworking class, I made a small table. Although it doesn't look like a desk when it is finished, I still like it very much ... I miss Chinese food very much at lunch time. English food is very different. English people eat a lot of desserts after dinner. They don't seem to like fruit as much as students in China. After lunch, we naturally played on the school playground. Sometimes I play football with boys. Sometimes I just relax under a tree or sitting on the grass. I am very lucky to experience this different way of life. I look back on my time in England with satisfaction. I really hope to study in Manchester again. I feel lucky to experience such an unusual lifestyle, and I hope to come back to Manchester to study one day.
M 1u 1 Project: Open a new school club and a new school broadcasting club.
There is a radio club in our school. It is great because it is run by students for the school. I am lucky because I am one of the hosts. There is a radio club in our school. What is unusual about this club is that it was founded by the students themselves for the school. I am lucky to be one of the hosts.
This started two years ago. One day, I began to think about providing music for everyone, so I asked the headmaster if I could play music during the break. He agreed to the idea, and two years later, I was in charge of the radio club as the oldest student member. Our club is more than just music. Every morning, we tell our classmates about the weather, the latest news, and some special information that teachers want us to broadcast. The broadcasting club was founded two years ago. One day, I had the idea of playing music for everyone, so I asked the principal if I could play music for the students during recess, and the principal agreed. Two years later, as a veteran, I was in charge of the school's radio club. Our club is not just playing music now. Every morning, we broadcast weather and current affairs news to students, as well as some special notices that the teacher wants us to broadcast.
During the exam, we have a special program to tell students what they should do to prepare. At the end of the school year, many students who are grading use our club to send messages to their close friends and teachers. The exam is coming, and we will make a special program to tell the students what to pay attention to when reviewing for the exam. At the end of the school year, many students who are about to graduate and leave school will use our radio club to leave farewell speeches to their friends and teachers.
When parents come to visit the school and talk with teachers, we often play songs sung by students, and we also send messages to parents to inform them of activities such as outings and school plays. Whenever parents visit and talk to teachers? We often play some songs sung by students themselves. We will also broadcast some announcements? Tell your parents about hiking and school drama performances.
I will miss the radio club after graduation, but I know it will continue without me. After graduation, I will miss the radio club, but I know it will continue without me. (Kate Jones)

When I attended the first meeting, I was asked to write a poem, which I had to read to the club. I was a little nervous at first, but everyone was friendly, so I soon stopped worrying. I once read a poem about nature in the school yard. I chose an old tree and began to read. The members of the club said it was one of the best works they had ever heard.
