Hua Jijian was edited by Zhao Chongzuo, a post-Shu person. This book contains 500 classic works 18 poems by Huajian poets, including Wen and Wei Zhuang, from the first year of Kaicheng in Tang Wenzong (AD 836) to the fifth year of Tianfu in the late Jin Dynasty (AD 940).
18 poets, except Wen, Huang Fusong and Ning He, were all active in the post-Shu of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms. They are Wei Zhuang, Xue, Niu Shu, Zhang Mi, Mao Wenxi, Gu Xun, Niu Xiji, Ouyang Jiong, Sun Guangxian, Wei Chengban, Lu, Yan Xuan, Mao Xizhen and Li Xun.
