The author of the first poem "Gift to Wang Lun" is Li Bai, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty. It depicts the touching scene of the poet boarding a ship and seeing his friends farewell. It expresses the "deep feeling of farewell". This poem is simple and natural, with sincere feelings. It is deeply appreciated by people and has become a famous line for future generations to express the feelings between friends.
The author of the second poem "Passing Through My Old Friend's Village" is Meng Haoren, a poet from the Tang Dynasty. It tells the story of the poet being invited to the home of an old friend in the countryside. In the simple and natural pastoral scenery, drinking glasses and chatting about daily life are full of fun and express the sincere friendship between the poet and his friends.
