Huang Azhong is a painter, but he has easily crossed the creative fields that most artists may never cross, such as oil painting, watercolor, gouache, ink painting, calligraphy and ceramics.
Huang Azhong is also a poet and essayist, and he is skillful in writing articles recalling his teachers. Now, he has launched his own modern poetry collection.
In the official account of "A Zhong Hua Shuo" WeChat, Huang Azhong often posts his paintings with modern poems. Here in Huang Azhong, the four great talents of "poetry, calligraphy and painting" most admired by ancient literati have become the epitome of Chinese and western art and culture.
In the1980s, Huang Azhong was also a well-educated young man, and the best-selling books such as modern poetry must be Secrets of Learning and Nurturing, which he read at his desk. He was enlightened long ago. 1979 participated in the first modern art exhibition after the reform and opening up, "Twelve People Exhibition", 1982 held his first solo exhibition in Shanghai.
■ Huang Azhong's works
The blowing of the times and the nourishment of Chinese and Western arts have made Huang Azhong a "generalist". In his view, learning art is like learning a bike. You can't do it in theory, but you must ride it to practice. Although it will fall off at any time when you start shaking from side to side, when you have a stable handle and ride smoothly, you will no longer pay attention to the stability of the faucet. After your riding skill is high, you will gradually enter the free position, and you will get rid of one hand and two hands and ride the S-shape. For studying fine arts, Huang Azhong always thought that we should master the techniques first, then draw lines with colors according to our feelings, and finally forget the techniques.
With the opening up of Chinese and Western arts, Huang Azhong has no difficulty in using oil painting pen, oil painting stick or Chinese writing brush. There, under the guidance of long-term synaesthesia, different art types in China and the West are unimpeded and invincible.
■ Huang Azhong's works
I remember once learning to paint ceramics from Huang Azhong. I finally finished painting a ceramic slab, but accidentally knocked off a corner of the edge. I am worried that my creation will become defective in an instant, but Huang Azhong smiled and said, "Never mind, look at me." With that, he broke the edge of the porcelain plate into a zigzag shape with his hand. In an instant, the porcelain plate turned into the shape of a sunflower, and then he wrote an inscription on the plate, so this porcelain plate became a unique "Huang Azhong Handmade Ceramics".
Huang Azhong's modern poetry is also related to his rich inner feelings and the overflow of painting talent. Shen, his old friend and master designer, said that A Zhong's poems, like his paintings, can be natural without agreed techniques, which is also because of his accumulated experience for too many years and his understanding of rivers, lakes and seas. A good poem, without too much melodramatic rhetoric, brings you a breath and a picture!

... years old
Poetry: Huang Azhong/Painting: Huang Azhong
I walked into the bamboo forest.
Don't look at the green.
Just to touch the tip of bamboo leaves
Drop dew
At that moment I stepped into the mountain road.
Towards the summit and the summit
Don't listen to the howling wind
Just trying to get through the gap.
Look at the sunset glow in the west
Just then, I climbed onto the roof.
Watch the fence
Don't look at the road, travel through time and space.
Just wait for the lights to flash back.
That moment
I am everywhere.
Walk through the bustling silence
The pace has not stopped.
For the chest
Holding the clouds all over the sky
That moment
I dream of becoming a teenager.
Listen to the melody of old songs
As the rhythm grows,
Not for nostalgia.
Want to welcome the new music notation.
life
Poetry: Huang Azhong/Painting: Huang Azhong
You are always on the road.
There is no point in moving forward.
look back
The flashing lights in the tunnel
Slightly glowing.
I know this road has no end.
However, this must not stop.
Let the ideal soul stay.
The waves beat against the reef beach.
Golden sunshine and white waves
Call it attachment to the soul.
Seagulls came to the window.
Overlooking from the window
Watch the sunrise with you
