Reflections after reading "The Song of Thatched House Broken by the Autumn Wind"
When I had some free time, I reread "The Song of Thatched Cottage Broken by the Autumn Wind" by Du Fu, a poet from the Tang Dynasty. The more I read, the more profound the artistic conception became. This poem is a true portrayal of the embarrassment life of the author's family. After comprehensively describing the situation of the thatched cottage in the precarious situation, the poem infers the miserable life of "the poor people in the world" and loudly shouts: "There are tens of millions of mansions, and the shelter of the poor people in the world will make them happy." , calm as a mountain in the wind and rain! Ooh! When I suddenly see this house, my house will be broken and frozen to death!" According to the living habits of traditional Chinese literati, when they are in trouble, the poet prefers to be "poor" It will benefit the world at the same time." I was deeply moved by the author's broad mind of caring about the country and the people.
This brings us to today’s urban construction. Looking around, there are rows of high-rise buildings and villas and bungalows on top of each other. Isn’t this the scene of “tens of thousands of mansions” that Mr. Du Fu had extravagantly hoped for? However, despite the remarkable achievements in urban construction, it goes without saying that some people still live in dilapidated houses and shantytowns. In fact, they also yearn for "Guangsha", but after touching their dry pockets and looking at the skyrocketing housing prices, they can only look at the buildings and sigh. Someone modified Mr. Du's poem: "A building of one hundred square meters can provide shelter for the whole family, young and old." It expresses people's helplessness and longing for a house. Perhaps Du Lao did not expect that more than two thousand years later, his descendants would still sing his "Song of Thatched Cottage Broken by the Autumn Wind" in a dilapidated building. If Du Fu had a soul in heaven, how emotional he would be!
The old saying goes: "Live and work in peace and contentment". This is a description of the peaceful and prosperous times in Chinese history. It also reveals the importance of "living in peace" from another aspect. If people have been searching for a long time for a place to live, but they still cannot "live in peace", why should they concentrate on "enjoying their career"? Looking at the high housing prices and the occupancy rate of real estate projects with only half of them; looking at the unfinished buildings that were built with huge sums of money and then torn down inexplicably; and listening to the complaints from the citizens about the change in housing prices, I felt really sad. All kinds of flavors.
For a long time, when people interpreted Du Fu's poem "Song of Thatched Cottage Broken by the Autumn Wind", they tended to only focus on "the tens of thousands of mansions that shelter the poor people in the world and make them happy" and ignored the "wind and rain" "It's as safe as a mountain". In fact, this sentence is equally weighty. Du Fu not only called for "the tens of millions of Guangsha to be safe", but also hoped that the "Guangsha" would be "as safe as a mountain in all weathers". This is an emphasis on the quality of housing and a concern for life and safety. But think about the quality of housing today. There are many shoddy projects. The Wenchuan earthquake two years ago triggered several big lawsuits about the quality of housing. The main body of a high-end residential building in Shanghai has just been erected. The whole collapse..., there are countless similar examples, it is really thought-provoking.
Woohoo! I hope that the country can strengthen housing control, based on the common people, open up housing to a wide range of houses, and buy "tens of thousands of mansions" that are "safe as mountains in all weathers", so as to help "all poor people in the world look happy"... p>
