Sahara

Sahara is the largest desert in the world, from north to south 1000 miles, and from east to west 3000 miles. But you must not think of it as "sand sea". There are hard sand plains and plateaus with dry rivers, as well as mountains. It hardly rains in most parts of the Sahara, so there are no trees, flowers and grass. But there is a lot of groundwater in some places. Where groundwater rises to the surface, there is an oasis. There, you will find many date palm trees, and people also grow millet and vegetables. There, tired travelers can rest in the shade and have a good drink of clear well water. There is a very important mineral oil in the Sahara desert. This makes the Sahara rich and important.

Just saw, the desert can be described as so beautiful.

Greek fable of fox and rooster

One morning, a rooster was walking. He saw a big tree and sat on it.

Then a fox came. He said to himself when he saw the rooster in the tree.

"It would be nice to have a rooster for breakfast."

So the fox went under the tree and said,

"Good morning, my dear friend, how are you?"

"Thank you, I'm fine." Said the rooster. "How are you?"

"Very well, thank you. Do you know that all animals are friends now? " Said the fox.

"Dogs and cats, cats and mice, foxes and birds-they are all friends now."

"That's good, good," said the rooster.

"Don't you come to my house? Let's have breakfast together. "

"All right," said the rooster. "But I see a dog over there. He is coming towards us. Let's call the dog to eat our breakfast, too. "

"A dog?" Said the fox. "You mean a dog is coming? Goodbye then. " He started running.

"My dear fox, why do you want to go? Don't you like this dog? Why are not all animals friends now? " Said the rooster.
