a: Jeremiah 1:1 The Lord is the true God, the living God and the eternal king. When he was angry, the earth shook. When he was angry, all the nations could not bear it. Jer 1:11 Thus you shall say to them, The God who did not create heaven and earth will be cut off from the earth from under heaven. Jer 1:12 The Lord created the earth by his power, established the world by his wisdom, and stretched out the skies by his understanding. Jer 1:13 When he uttered his voice, there was much water in the air. He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He makes electricity that flashes with the rain and brings the wind out of his treasuries. Exodus 3:6 And he said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. Moses covered his face for fear of looking at God. Exodus 3:14 And God said to Moses, I am who I am forever. And he said, thus shall you say to the children of Israel, I have sent me to you. Exodus 3:15 And God said to Moses, Say to the Israelites, The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. The Lord is my name forever, and this is my memorial for all generations. Matt 22:32 And he said, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. God is not the god of the dead, but the god of the living.
Hebrews 11:6 People cannot please God unless they have faith. For those who come to God must believe that there is God and that he rewards those who seek him.
