According to the Records of Guizhou, in the fifteenth year of Tang Yuanhe (AD 820), Guizhou (the old governing county of Zigui) assassinated Wang Maoyuan. It is said that Qu Yuan returned to his hometown after grievances, built Qu Yuan Temple, and carved a stone tablet "The Inscription and Preface to the Ancestral Temple of Dr. Qu Yuan Chu", praising Qu Yuan's "Bai Yi Fu, Xiong Wen, immortal". The inscription mourned Qu Yuan: "Lin went out and was trapped in people. A sword has a male awn, so you don't have to be godless. Mr Jiao Jiao, this is not phosphorus. All the people in the world are drunk and die with their will. The water is flowing, and the words ask its shore. The mountain is high and the dust is alone. "
In the third year of Song Yuanfeng (A.D. 1080), Song Shenzong honored Qu Yuan as "Qinglie Gong", rebuilt Qu Yuan Temple and renamed it "Qinglie Gong". From the late Yuan Ming Dynasty to the 25th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1820), he served as a state official, maintained the Qinglie public shrine many times, and informed Zhou citizens of the "May 5th Festival".
Qinglie Gongci is located on a hill five miles east of Zigui, facing the beginning.
