Which village in Zhangpu Ancient Town is Zheng?
The old city village was originally a famous city, named after the old city. The city was originally built by Zheng people to prevent Japanese pirates during Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, and the old Zhangpu county annals were advocated by Shi Bangyao, the magistrate of Zhangzhou. The village is located in the southwest of the old city, the midpoint of Zhangpu coastline and the port of the old city. It is adjacent to Chengwai Village in the east, Meilin Village in the west, Jiuzhen Port and Guocuo Village in the south, and Yuan Shang Village across the mountain in the north.
