What does it mean to fly into cauliflower and find cauliflower nowhere?

From the third and fourth sentences of the ancient poem "Xugongdian, Suxin City" written by the Song Dynasty poet Yang Wanli, the full text is as follows:

The fence is sparse and wide, and the flowers are falling on the tree heads. Not yet Yin. The children hurriedly chased the yellow butterfly, which flew into the cauliflower and was nowhere to be found.

Explanation

Next to the sparse fence, there is a path stretching into the distance. The flowers on the trees beside the road have withered, but the new leaves have just grown and have not yet bloomed. Create shade. The children ran and chased the fluttering yellow butterflies, but the yellow butterflies flew into the yellow cauliflower bushes and the children could no longer find them.

Appreciation of works:

The first poem describes the spring scenery in a restaurant, wicker sticks, and village songs and dances during the Qingming Festival. Yang Wanli was born in Jishui (now part of Jiangxi) and was addicted to alcohol all his life. At this time, he was in Xinshi and in a foreign country. As a drinker, it is natural to start writing about a restaurant; as a guest, it is natural to observe local customs first. The status of this first poem in the group of poems is far inferior to that of the second poem, but the author's leisurely mood reflected in this poem sets the emotional tone for the group of poems. The scene provided by the second poem is merely an external reflection of the author's state of mind.

The second song is widely circulated. This is a poem describing the rural scenery in late spring, depicting a scene full of spring. The first two sentences, "The fence is sparse and one path deep, and the flowers on the trees have not yet become shade" point out the happy and innocent background of children when they are catching butterflies. There is a sparse fence and a deep path in the picture. There are several trees beside the fence. The petals are falling from the branches, the young leaves have not yet grown, and the atmosphere is full of spring.

The fences and paths indicate that this is a rural area; "the flowers have fallen before they become shades" and the "cauliflower" in the concluding sentence both indicate that this is the late spring season. The last two sentences, "Children hurriedly chased yellow butterflies, flying into cauliflowers and nowhere to find them." The colored pen was moved to the center of the picture, depicting the joyful scene of children catching butterflies.
