Extended data:
1955, director Gong Yan asked Liu Chi to compose music for the film Flowers of the Motherland, and Liu Chi gladly agreed. 1One day in July, 955, directors Gong Yan and Su Li led all members of the film crew and a large group of children (actors and the masses in the film) to experience life in Beihai Park. Composer Liu Chi also came over and was suddenly inspired when playing with the children, so Liu Chi started writing on a big stone in this small peninsula where rhinoceros looked at the moon, using his legs as a table.
I finished the solo part and the chorus part of children's voices in "Let's paddle", and spent more than ten minutes to modify and gradually improve the song. Liu Chi asked the director to gather the children and sing for everyone. After hearing this, the children clapped their hands and said, "It was nice to sing about our feelings on the boat just now." Music truly shows the children's mood, interest, joy and happiness, which makes Liu Chi very satisfied.
