Song Yong, formerly known as Song Fusheng, was born in Tianjin in 1944 and is a native of Huanghua, Hebei. Currently, he is the director and researcher of the Drama Department of Tianjin Mass Art Museum. Member of China Music Association, director of Tianjin Music Association. He once served as a creator and crosstalk actor in the art troupe of the Political Department of the Air Force. In 1979, he became a disciple of Bai Quanfu. In 1982, he transferred to "Tianjin Singing" magazine as a folk art and literature editor. Over the years, he has created and published more than 300 pieces (collections) of folk art, sketches, TV dramas, TV sketches, novels, poems and other works, with more than 2 million words.
