Why is Ji Zi a flashback technique?

Ji Zi's poems adopt flashback technique, which makes the structure of the poems present a unique artistic effect. The first two chapters in the poem express the poet's deep yearning for the right person in the first person tone. The poet expresses his lovesickness by depicting his nostalgia for his lover's clothes-Yu Pei with a green collar. The third chapter points out the place and describes the scene that the poet is upset because of waiting for his lover for a long time, thus completely showing the secret love in the poet's heart.
