Why is Jiulian Cave in Bijia Mountain in Hejiang called Jiulian Cave?
Jiulian Cave in Bijiashan, Hejiang was discovered in the first year of the Republic of China. According to legend, a long worm in Panlongshan of the Red River has three circles, with its head in Wu Zhiling and its tail stuck on the Yellow River beach. In order to benefit the people and give gifts, it hides in a cave under Jiguan Mountain in the dead of night to cultivate self-cultivation and live forever. This cave was originally named "Jiulian Cave" and its back edge became "Jiulian Cave". There are as many as nine caves connected inside, and there are stalactites around the cave walls.
