Appreciation of Li Heshan's songs

Appreciation of Li He's Wild Songs

Zhou Zhien, No.8 Middle School, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province

Crow feather arrow mountain sang bow, face upwards shot down the title of Lu Hong.

Hemp clothes are black and fat. They pounce on the north wind and bring wine to the fields in the evening.

People's hearts are not poor, and glory is not equal to anger.

The cold wind has turned into spring willow, and the rows are full of smoke.

Li He, a native of County Valley, Fuchang County, Henan Province (now Yiyang, Henan Province), was born in the sixth year of Zhenyuan in Tang Dezong (AD 790) and died in the eleventh year of Yuanhe in Tang Xianzong (AD 8 16) at the age of 27. Li He's short life experienced three dynasties: Tang Dezong, Shunzong and Xianzong, and his creative activities were mainly in the Yuan Dynasty and the era when Xianzong was in power. There are 24 1 existing poems, which are deliberately innovative in artistic pursuit, curious and glamorous, and their management is bleak. With rich and peculiar artistic imagination and novel and peculiar language, they show mysterious artistic conception and form a "magnificent and peculiar" style.

Folk Songs is unique in Li He's poems. "Folk songs" means singing loudly in the fields. The first four sentences of this poem are closely related to the narrative of the poem: the poet is dressed in fat and wide black burlap, opens a bow made of mulberry against the whistling north wind, and emits an arrow with crow feathers as its arrow feathers from the sky. The string whistled and the arrow flew, and the wild geese flying around with reeds in their mouths in the sky were shot and dropped. The poet barbecued his prey in the fields, drank wine and sang songs until dusk came. If you drink and sing for a long time, the image of a bold and free poet will be like standing in front of you. What kind of mood will the poet reveal when he drinks and sings? The last four sentences of the poem are just blurted out by the poet: although a gentleman is depressed and embarrassed, his ambition cannot be delayed, and his enterprising heart cannot be sunk. The different fates of frustration and success in life can only be blamed on the unfair arrangement of God. The cold wind will eventually pass, and the coming spring breeze will blow away the green and withered willows. By then, covered with bright green wicker looks like a wisp of light smoke.

The narrative of the whole poem is closely related to events and narrative. There are images of bows and arrows, shooting at the sky, fat clothes, drinking and singing in the narrative, and there are also many voices of arrows flying, geese sorrowing, the north wind whistling and poets singing. When expressing their feelings, there is an inner confession of sighing and unwilling to sink, and there is an artistic daydream that the cold wind turns into a spring willow and the withered willow cage is a light smoke. The image description and sound rendering in narration have been bold and free, and the inner confession and artistic reverie are still filled with confidence and longing when expressing feelings. In this way, the whole poem has clear context, distinct syllables, high tone and passion.

We can appreciate this poem in connection with the poet's life experience. The first two sentences of the poem "Wild Mountain Song" are: "The crow's feather and arrow are the sangbow of the mountain, which shoots Lu Hong from the sky." On the surface, it is a superb shooting skill in words. In fact, it is a metaphor that the poet came to Kyoto with outstanding talent and won the championship in the exam. Among them, "bow" and "arrow" refer to the poet's literary talent. The Tianjie that the poet wants to look up is Kyoto, and the "red" that the poet wants to shoot down is to win the laurel. The poet described his ideals and ambitions with vivid metaphors. In fact, with the literary talent appreciated by the famous writer Han Yu, it is as easy for a poet to be admitted as "shooting Lu Hong into the sky". But just when the poet was full of ambition, something unexpected happened. Some people who were jealous of the poet's talent slandered him, saying that his father's name was "Jin Su" and that "Jin" was homophonic with "Jin". He should avoid his father's incognito, and should not take the examination of the etiquette department. Some people even attacked him for being "frivolous". This unexpected blow made the poet miss the opportunity to bid for the Olympic Games and had to return to his hometown with regret.

The third and fourth sentences in the poem "Ma Youyi is black and fat, rushing to the north wind, drinking wine in the evening and singing field songs" are just a way for the poet to relieve his inner depression and grief under the extreme contradiction between ideal and reality. On the one hand, when the poet is demoted and his career is blocked, he will naturally feel depressed, annoyed and sad. Poets naturally feel uncomfortable and have resentment to express. On the other hand, although the poet suffered unexpected setbacks in life at this time, he was still full of ambition to be an official, hoping to break through the predicament and seek a bright future. Therefore, he quickly recovered from his depression, just like in Febrile Fever Song, the poet expressed his indignation at the obstruction of his official career in such wild ways as fencing, undressing and drinking, and calling heaven in a pot. The poet expressed his jealousy, slandered his hateful villain and the examiner who listened to rumors and hastily took office in a free and easy way. It should be said that the higher the expectation, the greater the hope, the greater the blow to the second place, and the stronger the indignation caused by the huge contrast between ideal and reality. The poet's unique free and easy way is a natural catharsis of his strong inner indignation. Not only that, the words "black" and "north" in "Ant Black Flying to the North Wind" also deserve special attention. The word "black" vaguely gives the poet a feeling that the environment is too depressing and gloomy, and the "northland" style makes the poet indifferent to the world and indifferent to human feelings. In such a depressing and gloomy social environment, in the face of such a cold world wind and indifferent human feelings, the poet is still obese, drinking and singing, how depressed his feelings are, and how generous and heroic his spirit is!

Five or six sentences in the poem "A man's heart is not poor, and glory is not equal to anger" are the poet's self-encouragement. Although it is frustrating and frustrating that he came last and won the laurel of others, the examiner of the Ministry of Rites ("God") who caused this unfair fate should be blamed, but the poet believes that one day "the rooster will crow, the world will be white" and "the heart of young people will be a cloud" (for wine). In his mind, after the severe winter, it will eventually be a vibrant spring: "The cold wind has turned into spring willows, and every line is smoke." He was able to sing the poem "Gu Jian will roar as soon as his eyes opened" ("To Shang Chen") optimistically and confidently in a difficult situation, and generated the voice to display his ambition and realize it. It was because the poet was full of confidence in the bright future that he returned to his hometown in the autumn of the same year (September and October of the third year of Yuanhe) to seek a political outlet again, and went west to Chang 'an in winter to seek an official position. In the spring of the following year (809 AD in the fourth year of Yuanhe), he got the post of Lang, became a small Beijing official with nine grades, and finally began his uncomfortable political career.

Throughout the poem, the first four sentences are narrative and the last four are emotion. In the narrative, the description of images and the rendering of sounds are used to express the strong indignation of being suppressed and unable to stretch their talents, and the inner monologue and artistic reverie are used to express the optimism and self-encouragement of feelings. The image of being wild, heroic and free and easy is presented in anger, but when I encourage myself, I still see my ambition to actively use the world and work hard. In this way, the poet was depressed and did not sink. Although he is angry, he can still encourage himself between the lines of the poem, which is gratifying and exciting to read.
