There are mainly two schools of writers. One school, represented by Yanhe and Wang Bi, mainly showed Taoist interest, divorced from reality, and even created the precedent of "metaphysical poetry" in the Jin Dynasty, known as Wang He; The other school, represented by Ji Kang and Ruan Ji, inherited Jian 'an's character and showed the edge of dissatisfaction with reality, and was called Ruan Ji by the world. Wang and He schools have always been out of touch with the literary tradition of Jian 'an, which opened the wind of metaphysics in the Jin Dynasty. However, Ji and Ruan inherited the heritage of Jian 'an literature and showed the characteristics of the times. Their poems are profound in content and mature in artistic skills, and their achievements greatly exceed those of their predecessors. Ruan Ji's "Eighty-two Poems of Love" is the best representative. The combination of these two factions constitutes the basic features of the orthodox school.
