Outstanding characteristics of Li Bai's quatrains

Romanticism is the most prominent and successful feature of Li Bai's poems. Fresh and natural is an important style of Li Bai's poems. "Clear water produces hibiscus, natural carving". Li Bai worked hard in all aspects except a little lack of rhyme (good five laws). From the four-character "Book of Songs" style to the "Sao style" of Qu Fu, to the Yuefu style, the five-seven-character archaic style and the poetic style prevailing in the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, and to the quatrains and quatrains popular since the early Tang Dynasty, Li Bai has many excellent works, among which Yuefu style, seven-character poetic style and quatrains have the highest achievements. In addition to Qu Yuan, Li Bai also widely imitated the previous generation of poets. He praised "the bones of great writers are all your brushes, which are in Tianxue" and he "bowed his head and thanked Xuancheng all his life". Du Fu even praised his poetic style as "fresh and elegant, embracing the army"
