About the author: Wang Anshi (1021-kloc-0/086), a native of Linchuan, Fuzhou. Song Renzong became an official in Li Qing for two years (1042) after he was a scholar. Zongshen was the prime minister, and the legal innovation of reforming bad politics was opposed by big bureaucrats and landlords. After his resignation, he retired to Nanjing. He was a politician, thinker and writer in the Northern Song Dynasty. His literary achievements are quite high and his influence is great.
