What are seven words in ten frames? "

Jesus said seven words on the cross, which is the famous "seven words on the cross" in ancient and modern times.

In the Bible, the word "seven" means completeness. Jesus didn't say anything superfluous, nor did he refute what the enemy laughed at. Everything he said on the cross is very important. These seven famous sayings are spoken in many places to commemorate the "Good Friday" (some people call it "Good Friday") every year. There are still seven people to talk about, each explaining a sentence. These seven sentences include salvation, Christ's redemption, glory and crown.

I. First sentence

Jesus said to him, "Father. Pardon them; Because what they do, they don't know' ... "(Luke 23: 34)

The first sentence on the cross is "the way to forgive sins", so when we see the cross, we should know that human sins are forgiven because Jesus was crucified.

Second, the second sentence

Jesus said to him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23: 43) One of the two robbers who were crucified with Jesus laughed at him. The other blamed the man who laughed at Jesus. The man repented because he heard Jesus preach "the way to forgive sins" on the cross. Therefore, he prayed to Jesus with a trusting heart and said, "Jesus, please remember me when your kingdom comes!" " (v. 42) He doesn't understand the truth of being saved by faith. He always thought that he was guilty of a heinous crime and deserved to die. He only asked Jesus to "remember" him and remember him when he came to this country again. But to his surprise, Jesus said, "Today you will be with me in heaven". He was saved because he believed that Jesus had been saved on the cross; He also believes that Jesus is the son of God. He didn't commit a crime. He must rise from the dead. Otherwise, he wouldn't say "the arrival of the country". Since he believes that Jesus will come back to establish the country, he certainly believes that he will be resurrected. Because of this simple faith, sincere trust and simple prayer, he was saved. Unfortunately, many people have believed in Jesus for decades and still don't know if they will be saved! "Faith" means sincerely believing that Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead.

Third, the third sentence

When Jesus saw his mother and his beloved disciple John standing by, he said to his mother,' Mother, look at your son!' And he said to the disciple,' Look at your mother! From then on, the apprentice took her to his home. "(about 19: 26-27)

On the cross, Jesus did not forget his family, let alone his beloved disciples. Jesus was filial to his parents from childhood until the last moment, leaving his mother in John's care. This shows us that the cross not only shows salvation, but also points out that filial piety and love are our due attitudes and responsibilities. Unfortunately, some Christians only love God, but not their families. Such people, please follow the example of Jesus, love God and love his family.

Fourth, the fourth sentence

About the ninth hour, Jesus cried out, Eli! Eli. "Rama Saba Patani," which means,' Oh, my God! Oh, my God! "Why did you abandon me?" (Matt. 27: 46)

By saying this, Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Psalm 22: 1. God never abandoned Jesus. It was not until Jesus was crucified that God abandoned him. Why? Because he bore the sins of people all over the world (including the past and the future) and was crucified together. God saw the evil in the world, so he abandoned Jesus for a while. This is the most uncomfortable moment in Jesus' spirit.

The fifth sentence of verb (abbreviation of verb)

"After this, Jesus knew that everything was done, and in order to fulfill the scripture, he said,' I am thirsty'." (about 19: 28)

The sentence "I am thirsty" just fulfilled the prophecy of Psalm 22: 15. When Jesus said, "I am thirsty", "There is a vessel full of vinegar there; So they dipped the sponge in vinegar, tied it to hyssop and sent it to his mouth. " (About 19: 29) This time it was vinegar, and the last time it was wine. Please don't confuse us! Jesus shed precious blood on the cross, which was extremely painful, especially in this "thirst". Adam, the first man, committed a crime, and God punished him and told him to "make a living by sweating all over his face" (Gen. 3: 19). Since then, mankind has suffered from "thirst" because of sin. This "thirst" of Jesus compensates for our thirst, so that we can drink the living water of life and never be thirsty again. Jesus suffered to satisfy our hearts (Jn. 4: 14).

The sixth sentence

"When Jesus tasted the vinegar, he said,' It's done' ..." (about 19: 30)

Thank god! When Jesus was crucified, everything was "finished". He kept the whole law for us in the world and met the requirements of the law in order to save us from the curse of the law (Galatians. 3: 13). Of course, this "success" includes many aspects of "completion", but the most important thing is the completion of redemption and salvation. Because Jesus was crucified, our sins were forgiven. As long as we want to believe, we will be saved.

Seven, the seventh sentence

Jesus cried out with a loud voice, "Father. I gave my soul to you. When he said this, he died. "(Road 23: 46)

This sentence just fulfilled the prophecy of Psalm 3 1: 5. We have to die, because we don't want to die, and we are all afraid of death; But the death of Jesus is different. He voluntarily "committed" himself to God, because he once said, "No one took my life, but I gave it up. I have the right to give up and I have the right to take it back. " (about 10: 18) His last sentence on the cross is a little different from what he said before. The front is just "say", and the fourth sentence (Matt. 27: 46) Here is "Shout and Say". He swallowed his last breath and shouted loudly so that everyone could hear him and know that he had given his life for the world.

If we combine the factual order of Jesus' crucifixion with the seven famous sayings he said on the cross, we will see that the Old Testament prophecy is fulfilled everywhere. Of course, what Jesus said was to fulfill the scripture. Although this statement came from Jesus himself, it is amazing that even what the enemy did and said became a fact. Remember, it was the Romans who crucified him, not the Jews who crucified him; It was conducted in accordance with Roman law rather than Jewish law. In this way, the prophecy came true, which surprised us even more, and made us believe that the Bible was inspired by God, so that we could be saved and blessed by faith!
