What expression did Jinse use?

Li Shangyin's Jinse uses artistic expressions (metaphor, allusion, antithesis, metaphor, symbol, personification, etc. ) create a hazy realm by combining fragments of images.

Original text:

Don

I want to know why my Jinse has fifty strings, and each string has a youthful interval.

Zhuangzi daydreaming, a saint, was bewitched by butterflies, and cuckoo crowed in the imperial spring.

Mermaids shed pearl-like tears on the moon-green sea, and the blue fields breathed their jade to the sun.

A moment that should last forever? Before I knew it, it had come and gone.

Precautions:

Jinse: A beautifully decorated musical instrument. A plucked instrument, usually with 25 strings.

For no reason: why? Words of resentment. Fifty strings: this is Togu's word. The author meant that Jinse should have been 25 strings.

"Zhuang Sheng" sentence: "Zhuangzi's Theory of Everything": "Zhuang Zhoumeng is a butterfly, lifelike; Self-metaphor and ambition! I don't know, Zhou Ye. If you suddenly feel it, you will suddenly feel it. I wonder if Zhou Zhimeng is a butterfly and? Butterfly's dream is Zhou Yu. " Li Shangyin quoted the story of Zhuang Zhou's dream butterfly to illustrate that life is like a dream and the past is like smoke.

"Looking at the Emperor" sentence: "Hua Yang Guo Zhi Shu Zhi": "Du Yu proclaimed himself emperor, posthumous title Wang Di. ..... Its mutual understanding, decided that Lei Yushan in order to eliminate the flood, the emperor then instructed political affairs, and the law of Yao and Shun Zen taught benevolence and righteousness, so Zen was in enlightenment. The emperor rose to the western hills. In February this year, cuckoo birds sang, and Shu people mourned cuckoo birds. " Zi Juan is a cuckoo, also called Zi Gui.

Beads with tears: "Natural History": "There is Jiao Ren outside the South China Sea, and the water lives like a fish. Don't waste your performance, tears will produce pearls. "

Lantian: Records of Yuanhe County: "Lantian County, Jingzhaofu, Guannei Road: Lantian Mountain, Yishan Mountain, 28 miles east of the county."

Just: It means "just" and "only", and it means "yes" and "absolutely right".

Translation:

Why do exquisite musical instruments have fifty strings, each of which reminds me of my youth?

Zhuang Zhou danced in his sleep and turned into a butterfly, hoping that the emperor would entrust his hatred to Du Fu.

The moon, the sea and Jiao Ren shed tears, and the jade in Lantian can only turn into smoke when it is warm.

Why do you want to recall this scene at this time, just because my heart was just at a loss at that time.

Jinse is one of the representative works of Li Shangyin, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The title of the poem is Jinse, but it is not a poem about objects. It's just an untitled poem with the first word as the title according to the convention of ancient poetry. In the poem, the author recalls his youth, grieves his unfortunate experience, and places his sadness and resentment on it. He borrowed a lot of allusions such as Zhuang Sheng's dream butterfly, cuckoo's crying blood, tears in the sea, fertile land, etc., and used metaphor and imagination to transform his auditory feelings into visual images, creating a hazy realm by combining fragments of images, and conveying them with the help of visually sensible poetic images. The whole poem is colorful, subtle and profound, sincere and touching.

1, with the method of competition-the first couplet: "I wonder why my Jinse has fifty strings, and every flower-like note is the interval of youth." This is a popular folk song technique.

It is not without reason that poets use harpsichord. This instrument could have played all kinds of music, but poets often like to associate it with sad mood. Although this poem doesn't point out the name of the song played by Jinse, the poet can imagine its mood, because he thought of "China Year" from it. When reading these two sentences, we should also pay attention to the fact that the poet did not point out who the player was. If the poet himself is not a beautiful woman, it will be even more fascinating, resulting in a chaotic artistic conception.

2. Borrow the scenery and use the image-Zhuan Xu "Saint Zhuangzi daydreaming, the butterfly is bewitched, and the emperor is in love with the cuckoo." "Mermaids shed pearl-like tears on the moonlight green sea, and the king's longing for love cries in the cuckoo." The two most controversial sentences in Jinse are regarded as eternal mysteries of poets, including four stories: Zhuang Sheng's Dream Butterfly, Wang Di Du Yu, Jiao Ren's Crying and lantian jade's Smoke. The first three are often used in classical poetry. In different contexts, there are different meanings, such as Zhuang Sheng's dream butterfly, writing people's dreams, expressing a kind of leisure and self-satisfaction, or saying that life is illusory, life is impermanent and the past is like smoke. After the death of Emperor Du Yu, he turned into a cuckoo, which can be expressed as homesickness or the death of the emperor. Shark's tears can be used to express pearls, or they can be said to be the hatred of pearls in the sea. In the poem, I think the more agreeable explanation is: the change of life is vague, just like Zhuang Sheng's dream butterfly doesn't know whether his life experience is a person or a disc, with a confused sigh; The pain of life is like the feeling of longing for the emperor to hurt the spring, which is expressed by Du Fu's loss. On a bleak moonlit night, the pearl of the sea, with cold tears, sank like her own life with sadness; And the beautiful jade in Lantian transpiration under the sunshine, as if my pursuit turned into disillusioned clouds.

These four allusions are symbolic here. They respectively symbolize the four realms of fantasy, sustenance, frustration and inaction. At the same time, these four realms are also four spirits of life, four behaviors of people and four stages of life. This is the reason why the four allusions have rich symbolic significance. Zhuang Shengmeng Butterfly, Wang Di Du Yu, Jiao Ren Tears and lantian jade Warm are all limited expressions. Symbolism does not simply express its feelings about these things, but expresses its ideological pursuit of life through four realms: fantasy, sustenance, frustration and inaction, and moves from a limited phenomenon to an infinitely rich world. And no matter what explanation, the sadness and melancholy expressed in the poem are * * *. This is because at the beginning of the poem, "for no reason" and "thinking of China" are mentioned to set off the emotional atmosphere of sadness and nostalgia. And the last sentence, "and a moment that should last forever, has come and gone before I know it", goes hand in hand with the beginning. Although these allusions are not logically linked, they are full of symbolic meaning and hazy sadness.
