"Go to Fuyang New Town Li Jietui for three days to stay at the Feng Shui cave to see you"
Su Shi of the Song Dynasty
Spring birds are chirping in the spring mountains, and I cannot live without myself here. groan.
The road is long and winding near Jiangpu, and there must be no words from you here.
I didn’t see you by the goldfish pond, so I chased you straight through Dingshan Village.
Passersby all say that you are not far away, and the young man riding the horse is clear and gentle.
Fengyan Water Cave was famous in the past, and it was only accessible at night by a mountain stream.
The plum blossom calyx floats at dawn on the creek bridge, and I know that you belong to Ma Yan and the flowers fall.
It is still too late to leave the city for three days, and my wife and children scold me when I will return.
Children in the world boast about running fast, but treat each other like kings and have peace of mind now.
That day, I came out of the rapeseed field in the hometown of Tongjian Lake and wandered around the area. I saw the sign indicating the scenic spot of Jinxiu Shanshui Cave. Unfortunately, it was not open during the epidemic.
In the past few days, I was reading "The Complete Works of Su Dongpo" and came across this poem, and I felt an inexplicable sense of intimacy.
Su Shi served as an official in Hangzhou twice. The first time was as the general magistrate of Hangzhou from the fourth year of Xining (1071 AD) to the seventh year of Xining (1074 AD) in the Northern Song Dynasty; From the fourth year of Yuanyou (AD 1089) to the sixth year of Yuanyou (AD 1091) in the Northern Song Dynasty, he served as the magistrate of Hangzhou, equivalent to the mayor of Hangzhou.
He has worked in Hangzhou for nearly seven years in total. Su Shi did a lot of things that benefited the people and the country, such as dredging the West Lake, building the Su Di and Six Suspension Bridges in the lake, opening a new canal in the city, dredging salt channels to ensure shipping, and establishing the first public hospital in Chinese history. "Anlefang" and so on.
He even wrote the poem "If you want to compare the West Lake to the West, it is better to wear light makeup and heavy makeup." This is considered by later generations to be the best poem about the West Lake in ancient and modern times.
And his poem about "Feng Shui Cave" is full of the interest of life, describing his experiences, feelings and friendship.
Jinxiu Shanshui Cave was called "Fengshui Cave" in the Song Dynasty and is located in Yunquan Mountain in Zhoupu, West Lake District, Hangzhou today. According to the ancient book "Hangzhou Illustrated Book": "The cave is fifty miles away from the old administration of Qiantang County, and is located in Ciyan Courtyard of Yangcun. The cave is huge and the water flows endlessly. There is another hole on the top of the cave, and a gentle breeze comes out. Therefore, it is called Fengshui Cave."
Su Dongpo came to Fengshui Cave many times, and four poems have been handed down, namely "Two Birds Heard in Fengshui Cave", "Two Poems in Fengshui Cave and Li Jietui", "Linjiang Immortal (Fengshui Cave)" Cave work)", and this song "Go to Fuyang New Town Li Jietui and stay for three days to stay at the Feng Shui cave to see it."
This poem was written on the 27th of the first lunar month of the sixth year of Xining. At that time, Li Bai, the governor of Hangzhou Jiedu, knew that Su Shi was going to visit Fengshui Cave, so he went three days in advance and waited here. After arriving at the Feng Shui Cave, Su Shi gave him a poem to express his gratitude.
What is ironic is that such a poem to express gratitude to a friend later became one of Su Shi’s incriminating evidences for Su Luo Zhi, who was deeply involved in the Wutai Poetry Case. .
This poem describes the scene of the young talent Li Bai, standing in front of Su Shi for his tour of Fengshui Cave, and also describes Su Shi's mood of chasing Li Bai all the way.
"Everyone on the road said that you are not far away", but I couldn't catch up. I saw that I was only separated by a mountain stream, but I couldn't walk at night, so I had to stay at the inn, watching the night and sighing. It is very interesting to read.
"Singing Spring Birds" and "Next to Jiangpu" means visiting Fengshui Cave from outside the city gate of Hangzhou, along the Qiantang Embankment, passing Liuhe Pagoda, Jiangkou, Wang'anbu and Lingjiaqiao ..., looking at the spring water of the river, following the waves of the Qianjiang River, and listening to the birdsong on the green mountains beside the river in spring.
"You are not seen by the goldfish pond." The goldfish pond here is beside the ancient Kaihua Temple, which is the golden crucian carp pond under the Liuhe Pagoda today.
The Dingshan Village of "Chasing the Lord Straight Through Dingshan Village" is still there, but it is now called Lingjiaqiao Village. The Dingshan Mountain here is the current Lion Rock. To the north of the current Yunqi Town, the lion head of the Lion Rock is directly opposite the "Zhijiang Bridge".
"Fengyan Water Cave was famous in the past because it was blocked by the mountain stream at night." What separated it was the Hubu River (Wulong River). It was dark at night and you couldn't cross the Hubu River. In fact, it was separated by the If you have a Tongjian Lake, you can only spend the night at the Dingnan Mansion (ancient post house) by the lake.
"Xiqiao Xiaoliu", "Liù" refers to the rapid water flow, "Xiqiao Xiaoliu" means the rapid water flow under the bridge on Hubu River; "Fumei calyx" "Calyx" refers to the scattered plum blossoms floating in the running water.
"Knowing that the king is tied to the horse and the flowers fall on the rock", Su Shi guessed that it may be caused by Li Bai (Li Jietui) shaking the plum blossoms on the rock when he tied the horse. That day was the twenty-seventh day of the first lunar month, which was the time for plum blossoms. When in full bloom.
The last four sentences praise Li Bai for ignoring the reproaches of his wife and children. Not only did he arrange to wait for three days, but he also accompanied him on the trip without leaving. Su Shi compared Li Bai's deep affection with the worldly villains who compete for fame and fortune, highlighting Li Bai's valuable character of cherishing friendship.
It was the phrase "Children in the world boast about running fast" that was interpreted by political opponents at the time as Su Shi's ridicule of himself, and was regarded as one of the "evidences" in the Wutai Poetry Case.
Such an upright poem to give to a friend focuses on portraying the preciousness of friendship, but it can be interpreted this way in the eyes of villains. Although it was done intentionally and with ulterior motives, it still echoes the saying: A gentleman is magnanimous, but a villain is always worried.
