"End" means the end of everything and the end of the world. "Near" means right in front of you, or near the end. ? Peter said in the past two thousand years that "the end of all things is near", so today, the end of all things is closer, and the day when the Lord Jesus will come again is closer. The Bible does not say when everything will end, but the words of the apostles remind us that the end of the last days has already begun, and its end has obviously entered the "countdown" stage.
"Cautious independence" means not to get drunk, but to keep a clear head. Vigilance and prayer are two sides of a whole. Vigilance is for prayer, and prayer is for vigilance. Whether in suffering or in peace. A Christian who has the mind of suffering must be prepared for danger in times of peace, ready to put on all the military uniforms given by God and fight for the Lord before the day when the Lord comes.
