What are the poems about life and death?

1. Ten years of life and death are so vast that they cannot be forgotten without thinking about them.

From "Jiangchengzi·Dreams on the 20th day of the first lunar month of Yimao" by Su Shi of the Song Dynasty

Original poem

Ten years of life and death are blurry, without thinking, since memorable. Thousands of miles of lonely tomb, no place to speak of desolation. Even if we meet each other, we should not know each other, our faces are covered with dust and our temples are like frost. At night, I suddenly returned to my hometown with a deep dream. I was dressing up outside the small window. They looked at each other without words, only a thousand lines of tears. It is expected that the broken part of the intestines will be cut off every year, on a bright moonlit night, there will be short pines.

Translation

It has been ten years since we parted ways. We cannot bear to miss each other, but we will never forget them. The lonely grave is thousands of miles away, and there is no place to express the sadness and desolation in my heart. Even if you and I meet as husband and wife, I'm afraid you won't recognize me. My face is covered with dust and my temples are as frosty as I am running around.

I returned to my hometown in my dream last night and saw you dressing up in front of the mirror in front of the small window. You and I were silent and speechless, only we shed a thousand lines of tears. I expected that your heart would break for me every year, on that cold moonlit night, on that lonely short pine hill.

2. When it penetrates the sun and the moon, life and death will be settled.

From "Song of Righteousness" by Wen Tianxiang of the Song Dynasty

Excerpts from the original poem

Perhaps it is an example of a teacher, making ghosts and gods weep heroically. Or to cross the river and swallow Hu Jie generously.

Perhaps for hitting the thief's wat, the reverse head will be broken. This is the majestic Qi that will last forever.

When it penetrates the sun and the moon, life and death will be settled. The earth depends on it to stand, and the sky pillar depends on it.

The three cardinal principles are actually life-related, and morality is the root. I'm sorry to hear that Yang Jiu is really weak.

Translation

Sometimes it is shown as Zhuge Liang who wrote "The Master's Guide". His loyalty to death makes ghosts and gods weep. Sometimes it appears as Ji when Zu Ti crossed the Yangtze River and made an impassioned vow to devour Hu Jie. Sometimes it is shown that Duan Xiushi beats the traitor's wat so hard that the traitor's head is suddenly broken. This majestic energy fills the universe, and justice is inviolable and will last forever.

When this kind of righteousness reaches the sky and penetrates the sun and the moon, there is no need to talk about living or dying! The earth relies on it to stand upright, and the sky pillar relies on it to support itself. The Three Cardinal Principles rely on it to sustain life, and morality relies on it to have its foundation. What's sad is that when I encountered a national crisis, I really couldn't afford to go to Anguo to kill the thieves.

3. I know that my heart is like the sun and the moon, and my husband’s vows are as important as life and death.

Original poem from "Ode to a Chaste Woman: A Letter to Master Li Sikong in Dongping" by Zhang Ji of the Tang Dynasty

Original poem

You know that I have a husband, so you give me a pair of pearls. .

I feel your lingering affection, tied in a red lining.

The high-rise buildings of my concubine’s house are connected to the garden, and my beloved man is holding a halberd in the bright light.

I know that my heart is like the sun and the moon, and my husband's vows are as important as life and death.

Huanjun’s pearls shed tears, why not meet again when they are not married.

Translation

You know that I already have a husband, but you still want to give me a pair of pearls. I am grateful in my heart for your lingering affection and tying the pearl on my red short shirt. The high-rise building in my house is connected to the royal garden, and my husband is on duty in the palace with a halberd. Although I know that you are sincere and open-minded, I have vowed to fight with my husband through life and death. Returning your twin pearls brings tears to my eyes. I regret not meeting you before I got married.
