He was not understood by the world for a long time, but he was a poet who tried his best to impact the limits of literature and life in the history of China's new literature in the 1970s. With brilliant talent, miraculous creativity, keen intuition and extensive knowledge, he created nearly 2 million words of poems, novels, plays and papers in an extremely poor and monotonous living environment. His main works include: the long poem Only Water, Water, the long poem The Earth, the poetic drama The Sun (unfinished), the first chorus drama Messiah, the second chorus drama, the long poem Dazza (unfinished), the drama Mao and about 200 lyric short poems. Edit this passage about Haizi's death.
In the early morning of March 26th, Haizi and 1989 were lying on the tracks outside Shanhaiguan. When the train, the most powerful symbol of modern industrial society, ran over the body of the last pastoral poet in China, the pain it brought was not only the crushing of the body by steel, but also the pain it brought to all those who really loved poetry, the pain of the earth and the sun in China, and this pain will last for a year or more. And those "clowns" mentioned by Haizi in "Motherland, or Dreams for Horses" did not forget to express their opinions after Haizi's death.
According to some articles published by some poets and writers after Haizi's death, some people think that Haizi died of schizophrenia, some people think that he is a genius of Jiang Lang, some people say that Haizi's death is a martyr's poem, some people say that Haizi's death is due to the contradiction between urban and rural areas, and some even say that Haizi's death is possessed by practicing Qigong. These statements reflected people's concern about Haizi's death at that time, and it was this statement that showed the poet's ignorance in the secular world. How can you say that a person who chooses the date of birth and death together committed suicide on impulse? Read his poems deeply and everyone with a soul will find out why.
