China is a multi-ethnic and multilingual country. Mandarin is the lingua franca of modern Han nationality, the standard language of Han nationality and the dominant language of China. In the early days of the founding of New China, the Party and the state vigorously promoted Putonghua and wrote it into the Constitution, which achieved remarkable results.
Of course, the promotion of Putonghua is not to eliminate dialects, but to speak Putonghua on the basis of being able to speak dialects. Speak Mandarin with the same pronunciation in all corners of the country and write Kyushu standard characters. Mandarin is the national common language, which is of great significance to national unity, national unity and economic take-off. It has become the responsibility of each of our young pioneers to use Putonghua widely and standardly.
During Putonghua Promotion Week, the school issued the following initiatives to all teachers and students:
(1) Everyone in the campus uses Mandarin, creating a good language environment.
(2) The blackboard newspapers in each class set up a corner to publicize the significance of promoting Putonghua.
(3) Carry out the "lark" correction action on campus, and check the blackboard newspaper, learning garden and homework. If irregularities are found, correct them immediately.
(4) Each class will hold a class meeting with the theme of "Speaking Putonghua starts with me" during recess.
(5) This week's school red scarf will be broadcast on the topic of "Love Chinese, Build a Harmonious Language Life", and all classes will listen carefully.
(6) Senior one and senior two students hold a reading club with the theme of "popularization".
(7) Students in all classes should pay attention to finding irregular words when they are at school, on their way to school, and when they go out to play, make personal statistics on relevant figures, and select the "small guardians of standardized words" at the school level.
