Jiangxi Poetry School is an important poetry school in Song Dynasty, and its influence is quite far-reaching. Many famous poets in the Southern Song Dynasty, such as Yang Wanli and Lu You, were all influenced by Jiangxi Poetry School in art. In the Yuan Dynasty and even in the Qing Dynasty, Jiangxi Poetry School still influenced them.
Members of Jiangxi Poetry School
Lu Benzhong wrote "Jiangxi Poetry Du Paitu", with Huang Tingjian as the leader. The list is as follows: "Chen Shidao, Pan Dalin, Xie Yi, Hong Chu, Rao Jie, monk Zuke, Xu Fu, Peng Hong, Lin Minxiu, Hong Xing, Wang Ge, Li Ke, Han Ju, Li Peng, Chao Chongzhi, Jiang Duanben and Yang Fu.
Ting Jian is a native of Jiangxi, so he is known as Jiangxi School. But not all of them are from Jiangxi, and Chen Ye, who was promoted to be an important member of the sect at the same time as Lu Benzhong, was not included in the "sectarian map". Later, Yang Wanli added Hong Zeng and Zeng Si as "Jiangxi Tutors", while Ting Jian and others argued against Kunxi style in poetry and learned from Du Fu, Han Yu and Meng Jiao in Tang Dynasty.
