Modern poetry is about plants.

There are many modern poems about plants, including Bian's The Wall Grass, Xi Murong's A Flowering Tree, Shu Ting's To Oak, Rape Flower, Peach Blossom, Tree by the Window, Pear Tree, The Sound of Lotus, Lotus Leaf and Wild Sunflower.

My favorite is a sentence from Dai Wangshu's Rain Lane: She has the same color, fragrance and sadness as cloves, and she is sad and hesitant in the rain.

Modern poetry is free in form and rich in connotation. Vernacular style is adopted in form, which breaks the metrical bondage of old-style poetry; The main content is to reflect new life and express new ideas. The thoughts and feelings of some poems are reflected by metaphors and symbolic meanings. When understanding, we should expand association and imagination, accurately grasp the connotation of poetic images, and thus deepen our understanding of feelings.
