Upstairs Xie Gong is full of wine, and two hundred silkworms buy a bucket.
Red mud breaks green ants, and jade bowls open yellow honey.
Xie Gongjian (Chyi Yu, Liu Tang)
Seeing that you live in the misty state,
I occasionally see thorns on Xie Gong Lou.
It is the spring breeze where Tingzhou is located.
A building with heavy rain by the Tingjiang River.
Xie Tiao was appointed as the magistrate of Xuancheng during the Jianwu period of the Southern Qi Ming Emperor (494-496), and a room named "Gao Zhai" was built at the top of Lingyang Mountain in Chengguan. During his tenure, he was a director and lived here. He is the author of Poems History in Gaozhai, Wang Xian in Gaozhai and Looking Back at the Back House.
In the early Tang Dynasty, in order to commemorate Xie Tiao, Xuancheng built a new first floor in the former site of Gaozhai, which was named "North Building" because it was located in the north of the county seat, and it was also called "Beiwanglou" because Jingting Mountain was famous when it was built. In the Tang Dynasty, Li Bai visited Xuancheng many times and paid tribute to this building to express his feelings with poems. The poem "Climbing the North Building of Xuancheng Xie Tiao in Autumn" is well-known and has been sung through the ages. The poem says: "The river is picturesque, and the mountains look at the clear sky at night. Between the two rivers, one lake is like a bright mirror; The two bridges on the river look like rainbows falling from the sky. Orange forest pomelo is set off in the cold smoke of kitchen smoke; Autumn is boundless, and the phoenix tree has become old. Whoever goes to the North Building appreciates the wind. " Because Li Bai's poems are widely praised, this building is also called "Xie Gong Lou" and "Xie Jumping". Since then, there have been pavilions around the building, such as Fengfeng Pavilion, Qingshu Pavilion, Yingchun Pavilion, Guanfeng Pavilion, Shuangxi Pavilion and Huaixie Pavilion. Literati and celebrities of all ages came here, and there were an endless stream of people who climbed the building, and it was even more difficult to count the people who wrote poems.
In the Tang Dynasty, Bai Juyi lived in Xuancheng with his eldest brother Bai Youwen, and wrote a poem entitled "Cave Outside the Window" to express his feelings about climbing this building. This poem was known by the observers in Yun Xuan at that time, and was greatly appreciated. He was recommended to go to Beijing to catch the exam, and he was admitted to the fourth Jinshi, thus entering the official career. Until his later years, he wrote the poem "Send the title to the county", saying: "... there is no new poem on the wall, and it is empty to teach the window. I also like Xuancheng Zhang sentence and fly to Hejingting Mountain. "
At the end of Tang Xiantong (874), Xuanzhou Secretariat Du rebuilt the North Building. Because of the high terrain and dangerous cliffs, it was named "overlapping buildings" and recorded. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the magistrate rebuilt it in time, renamed it "Gao Zhai Lou" and inscribed it. In the 40th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (170 1), Xu Ting, the magistrate, renovated it and said, "The name of Diedie is also named after the earth, and the name of Xie Gong is also recited by people. The north building is known from ancient times to modern times, and people are among them. " Hence the name: "Gubei Building". In the early years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, the magistrate Lu was rebuilt. After the transformation, the North Building is divided into two floors, the upper floor is surrounded by a circle, the whole wood structure, glazed tile roof and cornices on all sides. The upper floor is a "stacked building", surrounded by wooden railings, and the lower floor is the "Xie Tiao Building", with screen doors on all sides. Around the bottom of the building, there are poems and buildings.
