Du Fu's life is a lucky debate.

Du Fu's life is not lucky. Although he was one of the greatest realistic poets in the Tang Dynasty, and wrote many poems that reflected social reality and sympathized with people's sufferings, he was called "the history of poetry" and "the sage of poetry", but his life experience was not smooth.

Du Fu was a famous poet when he was young, but he didn't take this opportunity to get an official position. In Chang 'an, he once lived in the Yuanri Denglou Hotel in the south of the city and lived a poor life. He compared himself to Confucius and Qu Yuan, and wrote poems such as Drinking the Eight Immortals.

After the Anshi Rebellion, Du Fu went to Sichuan and worked in the Yanwu shogunate. After Yanwu died, he drifted again. During this period, he wrote many important poems, such as A Cabin Broken by Autumn Wind and Hope for Spring. Du Fu spent his later years in Hunan and Hubei, and his life was very difficult. He even died of hunger.

Generally speaking, Du Fu's life was full of ups and downs, but he always adhered to his beliefs and ideals, and reflected people's life sufferings and social reality with poems, leaving a rich cultural heritage for future generations.
