Hebei Foreign Studies University was founded in 1998, with 15 secondary colleges and 47 undergraduate majors, involving eight disciplines including literature, science, management, teaching, economics, engineering, medicine and art, and basically formed an application-oriented 10 professional cluster.
Spanish major was rated as a provincial key development discipline, and six majors, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Korean and software engineering, were built into provincial first-class undergraduate majors.
At present, the number of students in school is 2 1 127.8, including full-time undergraduates 12 144 and full-time junior college students 8805, accounting for 57% of the total number of students (20 19 due to the overall guiding ideology of national higher vocational enrollment expansion and the overall arrangement of education departments)
During the epidemic, 364 students participated in the voluntary service in COVID-19, including two frontline medical workers. Their anti-epidemic deeds have been reported by Guangming Daily, Great Wall Network, Hebei News Network, Hebei Comprehensive Broadcasting, Liaoning Communist Youth League Committee and other departments for more than 30 times.
