1928, Feng Yuxiang, a general of the Republic of China, lived in seclusion in Zhao Pu Temple in Taishan. In his spare time, he wrote 28 limerick poems for masons to paint on the finished bluestone board according to the poems. "To Wang Lun" is a farewell poem written by Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, to Wang Lun, a friend from all over the world, when he was visiting Taohuatan in Jingxian (now southern Anhui).
The first two sentences of this poem describe Wang Lun's seeing Bai off while sailing, and simply and naturally express Wang Lun's sincere feelings for Li Bai. The language of the whole poem is fresh and natural, with rich imagination. Although there are only four questions and twenty-eight characters, it is one of the most widely circulated famous poems of Li Bai.
Xiaochi is a seven-character quatrain written by Yang Wanli, a poet in Song Dynasty. In this poem, the author uses rich and novel imagination and anthropomorphic techniques to describe in detail the characteristics and changes of natural scenery around Xiaochi.
The first sentence says there is running water in the pond. There is a shade on the pond.
The third sentence says Xiao He came out of the water with a small pond. Dragonflies have feelings, come and be with Xiao He.
