Rich and colorful folk literature of ethnic minorities in China.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the literature of minority writers entered a brand-new historical period. In order to develop minority literature, the party and government pay special attention to the cultivation of minority literature talents. From 1950s to early 1960s, a large number of minority writers emerged, such as Nasai Chaoketu, Baburin Beihe, Malaqinfu, Aodesa, Chaoketu Na Ren, Yi Li Qiao, Zhuang Wei Qilin, Su Yang, Bai Xiao Xue and Hezhe. The Cultural Revolution brought disaster to the literary creation of minority writers. Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the literature of minority writers has revived. 1980 held the national minority literature creation conference, and then founded the national publication "National Literature". All these have aroused the enthusiasm of minority writers. Houguere, an Ewenki writer, has won three consecutive national short story creation awards from 198 1 to 1982. Zhang Chengzhi, a Hui writer, also won an award for his novel. More and more ethnic groups not only have their own writers and works, but also some ethnic groups have formed their own writers. China minority writers' literature not only takes the folk literature of all ethnic groups as the source, but also pays attention to absorbing the excellent parts of Han nationality and some foreign national literature, thus creating and developing their own national literature.
