Let's briefly introduce Du Fu.
Du Fu (7 12 February 12 ~ 770), with beautiful words, is a great realistic poet in the Tang Dynasty, and is also called "Du Li" with Li Bai. Born in Gongxian County, Henan Province, his ancestral home is Xiangyang, Hubei Province. In order to distinguish Li Shangyin, Du Mu and Xiao Du Li, Du Fu and Li Bai are also called Da Du Li, and Du Fu is often called Lao Du.
Second, the reasons why Du Fu's poems were highly praised in the mid-Song Dynasty.
1, the new change of Du Fu's image from the perspective of Song people.
The relaxed political and cultural environment in Song Dynasty strengthened the sense of responsibility of scholar-officials to punish Fan Kuai and take the world as their own responsibility, so Du Fu's loyalty to the monarch and patriotism was particularly valued. This also shows that the literati in Song Dynasty respected Du Fu's ideal personality of taking responsibility by Tao, which is traceable.
2. Song people's acceptance of Du Fu's artistic management.
In Song Dynasty, Du Fu was the first poet in Jiangxi, and his founder Huang Tingjian tried to summarize the artistic experience of Du Fu's poems and provide a set of methods and regulations for poets. Huang advocates that it is not easy to change the language from the poems of predecessors and point out the allusions of predecessors' words. He is concerned with "creating words"
Huang Tingjian and others took Du Fu's successful practice as a model, and "introduced customs into poetry" from the perspective of theme and language. In essence, they all seek new changes in the times in order to get rid of the paradigm of Tang Yin.
The characteristics of Du Fu's poems;
1, depressed.
Linguistically speaking, Du Fu's poems are generally regarded as "gloomy". The word "depressed" first appeared in the Southern Dynasties, which means "depressed and thoughtful, sad and picturesque". Later, Du Fu wrote the word "depressed and frustrated", which accurately summarized the language of his works. "As for depression and frustration, they are agile at all times, while Yang Xiong and Gomez are ordinary.
2. tolerance.
As far as style is concerned, Du Fu's poems have many styles. For example, Du Fu also has a wild and unruly side. We can see Du Fu's heroism from his masterpiece "Song of Drinking Eight Immortals". The mainstream view holds that Du Fu's poems are gloomy in style, refined in language, rigorous in meter, skillful in craftsmanship, sincere in feelings, elegant in speech, profound in description, delicate and touching, and vivid in image.
3. Refine the text.
In terms of meter, Du Fu's poems are refined in words and neat in antithesis, which is in line with the "architectural beauty" of China's poems. "The sky is full of high winds, apes and birds are singing, the white sand in the blue lake is like a waterfall, and I think the long river is rolling in" is the embodiment of Du Fu's superb words and antithesis.
