the hometown of Guanyin, also known as the hometown of Guanyin culture in China. Guanyin shows no way, so there is more than one hometown of Guanyin. At present, there are two places named as "Hometown of Guanyin Culture in China" by relevant state departments: Pingdingshan in Henan and Suining in Sichuan.
A large number of historical documents and local chronicles clearly record the story of Guanyin's success in Xiangshan Temple in Pingdingshan. For example, the Ming Dynasty's "Unified Records of Daming" records: "Xiangshan was formerly known as Huozhushan, a place where great compassion bodhisattva testified." Ming Zhengde's "Ruzhou Zhi" records: "The Bodhisattva of great compassion handed down from generation to generation is the place where Chu Zhuangwang's daughter cultivated into a Buddha, and her spiritual bones have been buried under the tower so far." The Qing Dynasty's Ruzhou Quan Zhi records: "The king named it the Great Compassion Bodhisattva, and ordered the Xiangshan Temple to be built with thousands of hands and eyes."
In the first month of the fourth year of Song Zhenzong Dazhong Xiangfu (111), guangde temple Temple was given the name of Guangli Temple, and one of Guangguang Jewelry Seal and Wenyu Yinli Temple Guanyin Jewelry Seal was given, which is now in guangde temple, Suining. It was 6 years earlier than Mount Emei was given the bronze seal of Pu Xian.
