Shelley's impermanence poem PPT

changeable

changeability

Today's smiling flower

Will die tomorrow;

Everything we want to stay.

Lure and run away.

What is the happiness of this world?

Laughing at the lightning in the night,

Short and even bright.

How fragile virtue is!

How rare friendship is!

Love, how it sells poor happiness.

Despair for pride!

But we, though they soon fell down,

Survive from their joy

We call it ours.

Although the sky is blue and bright,

Although flowers are happy,

When the eyes change before the night comes

Let a happy day;

When the quiet time comes quietly,

Dream on, from your sleep

Then wake up and cry.

changeable

Today, flowers are happy and happy.

Tomorrow, it will fade;

Everything we want to stay in,

Seduce you and fly away

What is happiness in the world?

It was an electric fire that teased the night,

As short as lightning.

Virtue, how fragile!

Friendship, how hard it is to meet!

What poor happy love brings pride to their happiness,

Everything about "ours" is fleeting,

Our lives have to go on.

When the sky is bright again in You Lan,

Although these flowers are beautiful,

When the scenery is still changing,

This day has not passed yet,

Quiet time still flows slowly:

You dream-wake up from a dream and cry.
