Children's English Poetry: A Evening Prayer
My God, all the praises are for you tonight.
My God, I want to praise you on this beautiful night.
For all the bright blessings;
Bless with all the light.
Keep me, oh, keep me, king of kings,
Still the king of my kings
Under your own omnipotent wings.
Under your all-powerful wings.
Forgive me, God, for your dear son's sake,
Lord, please forgive my son.
The bad thing I did today;
I am getting better and better this day;
The world, myself, and you,
The world, me and you,
I, before I fall asleep, may be calm.
I feel calm in my sleep.
Oh, may my soul rest in peace in you,
Oh, maybe you can rest my soul in peace,
May I close my eyes and sleep sweetly;
May I close my eyes and have a good sleep?
Let me sleep more vigorously.
Sleep, maybe I have more strength and spirit.
Serve my God when I wake up.
Serve my God when I wake up.
My God, all the praises are for you tonight.
My God, I want to praise you on this beautiful night.
For all the bright blessings;
Bless with all the light.
Keep me, oh, keep me, king of kings,
Still the king of my kings
Under your own omnipotent wings.
Under your all-powerful wings.
Forgive me, God, for your dear son's sake,
Lord, please forgive my son.
The bad thing I did today;
I am getting better and better this day;
The world, myself, and you,
The world, me and you,
I, before I fall asleep, may be calm.
I feel calm in my sleep.
Oh, may my soul rest in peace in you,
Oh, maybe you can rest my soul in peace,
May I close my eyes and sleep sweetly;
May I close my eyes and have a good sleep?
Let me sleep more vigorously.
Sleep, maybe I have more strength and spirit.
Serve my God when I wake up.
Serve my God when I wake up.
Children's English Poetry: The Inverted World
If butterflies woo bees,
If butterflies chase bees,
Owls are porcupines;
Owls attract porcupines;
If the church is built in the sea,
If the church is built on the sea,
Three times one equals nine;
Three ones make nine;
If a pony rides its owner,
If a pony rides its owner,
If Jin Fenghua eats a cow,
If buttercups eat cows,
If a cat encounters a terrible disaster,
If a terrible disaster happens to the cat,
Worry, sir, mouse;
Worried about being eaten by rats;
If mom, sir, sells the baby,
Sir, if a mother puts her child
Half a crown sold to a gypsy;
Only sold half a dollar to a gypsy;
If a gentleman, sir, is a lady-
Sir, if a gentleman becomes a lady—
The world will be turned upside down!
The world will turn upside down!
If any or all of these miracles
If any or all of these miracles
Should exist,
If it does happen,
I don't think they are wrong,
I don't think they are wrong,
Because I should be from the inside out!
Because I should be a member of the change!
Children's English Poetry: On the Swallow
This lovely bird, oh, how fast she flies and how well she sings!
This beautiful bird, oh, how fast it flies and how well it sings!
But if she has no wings, can she do it?
If she had no wings, would she do it?
Her wings show my faith, and her singing shows my peace;
Her wings represent my faith, and her singing represents my peace;
When I believe and sing, my doubts stop.
I believe that singing is beyond doubt.
