Yu Shinan
Cicada droops like a tassel on a hat, its tentacles suck the clear dew, and its voice spreads from the branches of the straight Shulang tree.
Cicada is far away from cicada because cicada is on a tall tree, not relying on autumn wind.
3. Introduction to the author
Yu Shinan (558-638), a poet, calligrapher and writer in the Tang Dynasty, was one of the twenty-four outstanding figures in Lingyange, a native of Yuyao, Yuezhou (now Zhejiang). The official to the prison, named Yongxing County, was called "Yu Yongxing" by his deceased. When he was 8 1 year old, he was awarded the book of rites. His calligraphy pays equal attention to rigidity and softness, vigorous and powerful, and he is called "the four great masters in the early Tang Dynasty" with Ou Yangxun, Chu Suiliang and Xue Qi. His poetic style and calligraphy have the same effect, and the beauty is full of vitality.
