First, the introduction of new courses.
Exchange famous sentences that express patriotic feelings, such as "Who has not died since ancient times, keeping the heart of a child as a mirror in the history of history" (Wen Tianxiang), "It is an honor for Julian Waghann to set up a Central Plains Day in the north, and not forgetting family sacrifices" (Lu You) and "Every man is responsible for the rise and fall of the country" (Gu). These immortal poems are the heartfelt wishes of patriots at the critical moment of national peril. Today, we are going to learn the famous modern poem "I love this land" with the same theme. (Blackboard: I love this land, Ai Qing)
Two. Brief introduction of the author
Ai Qing (19 10 ~ 1996), formerly known as Jiang Haicheng, was born in Jinhua, Zhejiang, and was a famous modern poet. The style of early poetry is rich and simple, and the tone is deep and melancholy. Poetry during the Anti-Japanese War had a high style. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, his works became more mature, with deep feelings and rich philosophy. The main poetry collections are Dayan River and Torch, the latter is famous for Dayan River ── My Nanny. This poet once called himself a "sad poet". In the history of the development of China's new poetry, Ai Qing is another poet who promoted the poetic style of a generation after Guo Moruo and Wen Yiduo, with great influence. He also enjoys a reputation in the world. 1985, France awarded Ai Qing the highest medal of literature and art.
Third, the background of solving the problem
The title of the poem is "I love this land", which clearly expresses the love for the land. Ai Qing is a singer of the land, and "land" is one of the two images that appear most frequently in his poems (the other is "the sun"). "Land" symbolizes the troubled motherland that gave birth to him and raised him. Love for "land" is an inexhaustible melody in Ai Qing's works.
This poem was written in 1938 1 1. At that time, the Japanese invaders successively captured vast areas in North China, East China and South China, and went crazy everywhere in an attempt to destroy the China people's will to resist the Japanese war. The people of China rose up and waged an indomitable struggle. At the critical moment of national ruin and national peril, the poet firmly integrated into the torrent of national liberation struggle and became the "trumpeter" of the times. He wrote this impassioned patriotic poem with deep love for the motherland and gnashing hatred for the invaders.
Fourth, reading guidance.
Free verse is different from old-style poetry, and there are no strict restrictions on the number of words, pause and rhyme. With the expression of feelings, sentences can be long or short, the number of words can be more or less, free and flexible, and eclectic. Therefore, when reading modern poetry, we must grasp the rhythm and pause of poetry, cultivate our sense of language on the basis of repeated reading, understand the objects described in poetry and the expressive techniques used, and understand the thoughts and feelings expressed by the poet more accurately. Whether words are stressed or not is mainly determined by the emotion of poetry. Generally speaking, words that can clearly express the poet's feelings, including head words and modifiers, should be stressed.
Step 1: listen to the tape or read the teacher's model essay;
Step 2: Use symbols to divide the words of pause and stress in poetry, refer to:
I love this land.
If I were a bird,
I should also/with a hoarse throat/sing:
This storm/this land,
This is always surging/our sadness/river.
This constant/blowing/annoying/wind,
And the/very gentle/dawn from the forest. ...
-Then/I died,
Even the feathers have rotted underground.
Why/my eyes/often contain tears?
Because/I love this land deeply. ...
Step 3: Students read aloud freely to explore the emotional tone of this poem: sad and deep;
Step 4: Practice reading aloud, and recommend 2-3 students who read well to read aloud in class;
Step 5: boys and girls read together;
Step 6: read aloud by the whole class;
Step 7: Recite the whole poem.
Second lesson
First, summarize the contents of the two poems.
The first section compares a bird's attachment to the land and expresses the poet's love for the motherland. The question and answer in the second section directly expressed my love for this land.
Second, appreciate the first section.
1. Based on the writing background, accurately understand the meanings of images such as "land", "river", "wind" and "dawn" sung by birds.
A: "Land" is the land of the motherland that breeds and nurtures the Chinese nation. "River" and "Wind" represent China people's indomitable spirit of the war of resistance. "Dawn" means a liberated area full of vitality and hope.
2. What is the word "this" in the poem? What's the role?
The three words "this" refer to the central words "land", "river", "wind" and "dawn" in the second half sentence respectively. The word "this" echoes the word "this" in the title, which strengthens the relationship between "bird" and "land, river, wind and dawn", highlights the initiative of birds to protect the motherland, and expresses the author's love for the motherland and people.
3. The land, river and wind where birds sing are all preceded by modifiers, such as "hit by the storm", "sad" and "fidgety". What are their functions?
A: These modifiers enrich the connotation of images, and highlight the image of birds as "patriots" and "trumpeters": they sing "the land hit by storms", that is, although the motherland is suffering under the iron hoof of Japanese imperialism, as a weak bird in the artillery fire, it bravely guards Sri Lanka's native motherland, not only not abandoning it, but also cheering for its liberation. Singing the surging rivers of "sadness" and "anger", and blowing the wind of "anger", it is shouting for the indignant people of China to launch a struggle against Japanese imperialism, in order to wait for the day when "incomparably gentle dawn" comes.
4. What is the image of the "bird" singing with a hoarse throat in the poem? This "bird" sang to death, and finally "even its feathers rotted in the ground". How to understand this?
A: "Hoarse" expresses the feelings of singing and infinite true feelings; Even if I sing until my throat is bloodshot and hoarse, I will not stop singing to the earth in the face of thousands of difficulties and dangers. This "bird" is an image that has suffered a lot and spent all her life singing.
It sings about land, rivers, wind and dawn. After its life was exhausted, it plunged into the embrace of the land and merged with the land it loved. Before and after his death, there was a sharp contrast. In this strong contrast, the bird's persistent love for the land actually reflects the poet's determination to dedicate everything to the motherland. This is really born in Sri Lanka, singing and buried until death do us part.
5. What are the advantages of the poet's strong patriotism expressed in birds?
A: The poet takes If I were a Bird as a dummy, and the "singing" "bird" is also a "poet"; "Even feathers rot in the ground" is a "bird" and a "poet's wish to die for the motherland. The description with feelings in this image not only helps to express feelings, but also enhances the image sense of poetry.
Third, appreciate the second section.
Q: What is the role of the second verse in the whole text? What does it have to do with the first poem? Talk about your understanding.
1. Reveal the theme of the whole poem. 2. These two poems, with questions and answers, express their feelings directly, and express the poet's sincere and ardent patriotism with the situation of "tears in my eyes", vividly express the poet's attachment to the land, and imply the meaning of dedication. 3. The last two sentences are also the essence of the whole poem, and they are the confession of all patriotic intellectuals' sincere love for the motherland in that miserable era. This kind of love is not only the deep love of the poet, but also the concentration of patriotic feelings of the whole nation. Ai Qing used these two poems to express the voice of the Chinese people in that era.
If the first section is a lyrical description of the theme of "loving the land (motherland)", then the short and pithy two lines in the second section can be regarded as a highly concise summary of the theme. Causal question and answer is a close-up of a patriot's grief and indignation when he witnessed the devastated motherland. In this section, poetry has been refined and sublimated.
These two poems are full of the poet's deep attachment and endless love for the motherland. As far as the emotional development of poetry is concerned, the first section is preparation, and the second section is emotional generation and emotional sublimation. Poetry is progressive layer by layer.
Fourth, the students sum up the gains and problems of this class by themselves (choose one person from each group and communicate in class)
