19 15 years, the famous American poet Ezra Pound (1885-1972) translated a collection of China's classical poems, named Huaxia Collection. After the publication of this collection of poems, it caused great repercussions in the English-speaking world. Its publication immediately set off an upsurge in the translation of China's ancient poems in the British and American poetry circles, and even made China's ancient poems once drown the British and American poetry circles.
The main reason why Huaxia Collection caused such a sensation is that it not only contains the aesthetic features of China's classical poetry, but also incorporates Pound's personal modernist poetry creation idea. Specifically, Pound adopted the introduction mode of "creating while translating" in his poetry collection, and his translated poems were mainly recreated on the basis of understanding the original poems. Accordingly, Huaxia Collection is not a strict translation of poetry, but can be regarded as the "nirvana rebirth" of China's classical poetry in the English-speaking world to a greater extent.
