The rise of literati's poems in the Northern Dynasties has something to do with some literati fleeing to the North after the Hou Jing Rebellion in the South. Poets like Xiao in the Northern Qi Dynasty were the imperial clan of the Liang Dynasty. His poem "Qiu Si Poems" contains two sentences, "The lotus is falling, and the willow is in the middle of the moon", which are praised by many people, but some people think that it is purely the poetic style of the Southern Dynasties and don't quite agree with it. Yan Zhitui, another scholar who entered the Northern Qi Dynasty from Liang Dynasty, is not named after poems, but his poems, Two Poems of Ancient Meaning and Crossing the Pillar from Zhou Dynasty to Qi Dynasty at Night, are also quite clear in style.
